Security Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Security in executing and enhancing the property’s security strategy.
• Oversee daily security operations to ensure professionalism and efficiency across all shifts.
• Lead incident management processes, including reporting, investigation, and resolution.
• Analyze risks and implement preventive measures to protect guests, colleagues, and assets.
• Maintain and improve emergency response plans and procedures.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the security team.
• Oversee Lost & Found processes and ensure proper maintenance of security equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen safety awareness and response readiness.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degrees or certifications in security/safety are preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency in both spoken and written communication.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Advanced knowledge of fire prevention, firefighting systems, and emergency response (evacuation, search and rescue).
• Proficiency in computer systems and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a hospitality or luxury environment.
• Certification or formal training in emergency response.
• Basic knowledge of meteorology.
