Security Assistant Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Manager with the coordination of all technical and managerial aspects of executing the security contract.
• Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals and shift supervisors.
• Maintain and update Post Order manuals and ensure the post is clean and organized.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate new employees, and provide on-the-job training.
• Oversee all reports, logs, and communications generated by the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units such as fire control rooms, command centers, or loading docks as applicable.
• Respond to minor incidents and client or site emergencies, ensuring appropriate notification and reporting.
• Identify and escalate personnel issues, such as payroll or employee relations concerns, to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level experience.
• Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
• Valid state Guard License (or ability to obtain one prior to employment).
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Ability to work outside normal shift schedules and be accessible 24/7 for emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• College education or completion of business classes.
• Experience in scheduling, operations, or other security industry functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and email.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
