About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Account Manager with the coordination of all technical and managerial aspects of the security contract at the assigned college campus location.
- Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals and shift supervisors regarding performance and operations.
- Maintain and update Post Order manuals, training information, and ensure the post is organized and properly maintained.
- Conduct interviews, evaluate new employees, and provide on-the-job training and orientation.
- Oversee all security reports, logs, and communications, ensuring accurate distribution to the team.
- Manage sub-units such as fire control rooms, command centers, and loading docks as applicable.
- Respond to minor incidents and site emergencies, ensuring appropriate reporting and client notification.
- Identify and escalate personnel issues, payroll concerns, or employee relations complaints to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of professional-level experience, specifically in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
- Valid state Guard License (or ability to obtain one prior to employment).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Ability to work outside normal shift schedules and remain accessible 24/7 for emergency response.
Preferred Qualifications
- College education or completion of business classes.
- Previous experience in security scheduling or operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and email.
- Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
