Security Architecture

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement enterprise security systems to mitigate emerging threats in a production environment.
• Conduct security analysis of current processes and platforms and generate ad-hoc reports for management.
• Design security models and review/approve security configurations for firewalls, VPNs, routers, and IDS technologies.
• Define security-based architecture while adhering to development methodologies and engineering standards.
• Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend necessary enhancements.
• Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
• Manage engineering team members in the development of system security components and guidelines.
• Conduct security awareness programs to educate staff on information security policies and practices.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in security architecture within a highly regulated or complex financial services environment.
• Expertise in cloud security across AWS, Azure, and OCI.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as VB.NET, Java/J2EE, or ColdFusion.
• Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Familiarity with security tools including Tenable, CrowdStrike Falcon, SIEM, DLP, and GRC tools.
• Strong knowledge of industry frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/02, and COBIT.
