Security Architecture, Engineering & Threat Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Review new system designs, network architectures, and digital platform builds to ensure security by design.
• Produce Security Architecture Review Reports including risk-rated findings, threat models, and design recommendations.
• Assess the security of APIs, cloud components, and digital banking platforms against OWASP, NIST, and CBE guidelines.
• Take ownership of Tenable Security Center (SC) configuration, scan policy design, and coverage assurance.
• Design and implement a structured vulnerability management workflow, including triage, risk-rating, and remediation tracking.
• Produce vulnerability dashboards for leadership to monitor patch SLA compliance and exposure trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in information security with strong technical depth.
• Proven experience in Tenable SC or Tenable.io administration, including scan configuration and policy tuning.
• Experience conducting security architecture reviews within the banking or financial sector.
• Practical threat hunting experience using SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tenable Certified Security Engineer (TCSE) or Tenable.sc Specialist.
• CISSP, GIAC (GCED or GCTI), or SABSA certifications.
• Experience working within Egyptian banking institutions regulated by the CBE.
• Hands-on experience with F5 AWAF, Palo Alto, or equivalent security controls.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0 and CBE Cybersecurity Framework.
