Security Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the security architecture framework, policies, and procedural guidelines
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security practices throughout the SDLC
• Design and implement robust security solutions including IAM, encryption, and network security
• Stay updated on security trends and emerging risks
• Provide training and guidance on security best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in security architecture
• Experience designing secure infrastructure for classified data (Top Secret, Secret, etc.)
• Expertise in data classification, governance, and secure data transfer workflows
• In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST frameworks, FIPS, SCF, CIS, and OWASP
• Familiarity with UAE Information Assurance (IA) and Ministry of Defence (MOD) requirements
• Experience with firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and IAM
• Technical proficiency in AWS or Microsoft Azure

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
• CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certifications
• Experience with security compliance and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of secure coding and DevSecOps
• TOGAF certification
