About the role
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Develop customized security and fire solutions based on client requirements and compliance standards
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for commercial security and fire systems
- Advise clients on system design, installation, and integration best practices
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful solution deployment
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, NFPA codes, and UL standards
- Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and address issues promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security/fire technology or related field
- Minimum 2+ years in commercial security or fire system sales
- Strong knowledge of access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and fire alarm panels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive sales targets
- Willingness to travel overnight and perform heavy prospecting
