Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, and enhance core security monitoring toolkits including SIEM and sensors
• Design and refine high-fidelity alerts from raw infrastructure events
• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across corporate infrastructure
• Own containment and mitigation of potential security incidents
• Develop and test incident response plans and actionable playbooks
• Analyze complex logs, endpoints, and network traffic to identify emerging risks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy secure architectures and OS hardening
• Support and guide the company on security-related matters and emerging risks

Requirements

• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of system and network security best practices
• Strong working knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and security components
• Familiarity with modern malware techniques and attacker TTPs
• Sound understanding of networking protocols and detection mechanics (EDR, IDS/IPS)
• Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Python for automation
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Deep belief in digital privacy

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or operations
• Hands-on experience with Elastic stack, Vector, or large-scale log analysis tools
• Experience with data analysis tools like Jupyter or Pandas
• Practical knowledge of securing Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud infrastructure
• Experience integrating Threat Intelligence into security workflows
• Industry-recognized security certification
