Security Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services in physical and technical security for complex projects
• Design, follow up, and quality assure electronic and physical security measures
• Conduct security and risk analyses (e.g., according to NS 5832 and NS 5814)
• Assess and apply relevant standards, regulations, and authority requirements
• Ensure synergy between technical, physical, and organizational measures
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Contribute to internal professional development and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, construction, or related technical fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security, protection, or related technical fields
• Strong knowledge of the Security Act and experience with high-security projects
• Experience with design, installation, construction, or project management in high-security environments
• Familiarity with relevant standards for physical and electronic security
• Knowledge of the Security Handbook (Forsvarsbygg) or equivalent frameworks
• Ability to obtain security clearance at the Secret level or higher

• Experience with testing, verification, or development of security products and solutions
• Ability to view individual roles within a larger security and system context
