Securitized Credit Research Analyst - Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sector and issuer due diligence, tracking trends and macroeconomic drivers to formulate investment recommendations.
• Formulate actionable buy/sell recommendations for new issue and secondary markets and communicate them via detailed written credit opinions.
• Proactively monitor market themes and sector trends to identify compelling investment opportunities.
• Perform rigorous surveillance and monitoring of holdings to identify risks and enhance surveillance tools.
• Develop sophisticated models to enhance investment analysis and forecast performance for consumer or real-estate related assets.
• Aggregate and analyze large datasets to develop and test investment opinions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio managers, issuers, rating agencies, and broker-dealers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of meaningful securitized credit experience across one or more sub-sectors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of securitized sectors, specifically ABS and/or non-agency RMBS.
• Proficiency with Intex and/or Trepp.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work under stringent time constraints.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming skills are a strong plus.
• Experience as a research analyst, portfolio manager, banker, structurer, or trader.
