Securities Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Participate in low complexity lifecycle support tasks and identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations
• Perform trade allocations for Money manager advisory accounts and ensure accurate system maintenance
• Review and resolve tactical issues, policies, or procedures related to low-risk tasks and deliverables
• Build expertise in operational processes including client onboarding, cash payments, funding, and securities settlement
• Assist in gathering data to support issue resolution and analyze functional operational tasks
• Liaise with Money managers, Financial advisors, and Traders regarding trade-specific discrepancies
• Monitor daily securities and cash-related production work to support team effectiveness

Requirements

• 6+ months of Securities Operations experience (or equivalent through work, training, or education)
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work the scheduled shift of 6:30pm to 3:30am

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Understanding of reconciliation, matching, trade settlement, and capital markets
• Experience interacting with US-based counterparts
