Securities Lending Trader

Responsibilities

• Actively trade and optimize BlackRock's EMEA Equities and/or Fixed Income securities lending books to drive revenue and performance.
• Build and implement trading strategies based on detailed analysis of companies, sectors, and market variables.
• Partner with portfolio managers and internal global trading teams to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
• Manage relationships with top-tier prime brokerage firms and market counterparties.
• Collaborate with Quantitative Research and Algorithmic Trading groups to innovate trading systems and analytics.
• Oversee day-to-day administrative trading issues and liaise with trading operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Equities, Fixed Income, Securities Lending, Financing markets, Delta One, or Prime Services.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA markets.
• Experience analyzing corporate actions and event-driven situations to identify pricing and relative value opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or VBA.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
