Securities Financing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate financing transactions on a day-to-day basis across various products
• Maintain and develop relationships with prime brokers and other external financing counterparties
• Optimize the financing footprint across counterparties, products, and structures to reduce costs and improve terms
• Help form long-term financing strategy by improving and expanding current activity
• Analyze financing opportunities using in-depth cost-benefit analysis against firmwide constraints
• Help build and improve infrastructure supporting financing initiatives

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant financing experience at a buy-side firm or bank
• Strong understanding of EMEA financing and stock loan markets
• Experience across multiple asset classes (equities, corporate bonds, ETFs) and financing structures (PB, swap, repo)
• Strong analytical skills and experience with technical data analysis
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages
• Experience with STEM coursework
