Securities Finance Trader

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers to optimize client securities lending portfolio performance
• Adhere to risk and control guidelines regarding counterparty credit limits, best execution, and fiduciary obligations
• Identify and present trading opportunities for special situations and latent holdings, including corporate action events
• Collaborate with global sales, client executive, and product teams to build and present portfolio models
• Prepare market commentary for clients and management reporting
• Interface with operations, technology, and account management teams to ensure proper controls and settlements
• Partner with quantitative analysis teams to enhance proprietary trading analytics and optimization engines

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in Securities Lending, Prime Finance, or Delta One trading (equity or fixed income)
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and MS Excel modelling and macro development
• Experience with basic programming and large data sets using SQL, Qlikview, or Python
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under time pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business or Finance
• CFA designation
