Securities & Derivatives Sr Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices
• Facilitate the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions
• Resolve complex process problems through in-depth evaluation of securities processing procedures and industry standards
• Manage hedge fund tasks including net asset value calculation, cash and holdings reconciliation, and security pricing
• Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff members
• Oversee the setup of new hedge funds and act as a procedural expert
• Prepare expense budgets, analyze calculations, and prepare unaudited financial statements
• Assess risk in business decisions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and firm policies

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in securities or derivatives processing
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent university degree/experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
