Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1

Responsibilities

• Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
• Generate and match trade confirmations according to ISDA templates
• Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time
• Coordinate transaction processing issues with appropriate departments to find solutions
• Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities
• Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports
• Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members
• Participate in periodic General Ledger (GL) proofing exercises
• Assess risk in business decisions to safeguard the firm, its clients, and its assets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Fundamental knowledge of settlement cycle concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in securities or derivatives processing
