Secure Configuration Management Technical Analyst

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance with secure configuration management program requirements and maintain the scope of assets requiring baselines and regular scanning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with program goals and compliance requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to program activities, requirements, and compliance results.
• Oversee the documentation of configuration baselines and changes to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Manage findings and remediation plans, addressing non-compliance issues swiftly.
• Liaise with decentralized process owners to gather metrics, understand risks, and certify process alignment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security compliance or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools, vulnerability scanning software, and asset management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex data related to configurations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with compliance tracking and reporting tools.
• Experience with project management solutions such as Jira or MS Project.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation.
