Section Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and disseminate work to the Team Supervisors of Infoline
• Determine appropriate staffing levels to handle telephone inquiry volume
• Act as a liaison to Benefit Access Centers and link caseworkers to Infoline agents
• Train unit supervision and staff on duties and HRA policies
• Review HRA policies and program data to ensure correct inquiry responses
• Monitor staff performance and adherence to guidelines
• Prepare supervisory reports using logs and PC-generated data
• Attend staff meetings to assist in developing intervention strategies
• Monitor subordinate time, leave, and adherence to agency code of conduct
• Maintain manual and PC-based files to track inquiries and responses

Requirements

• Must be permanent in the Principal Administrative Associate civil service title
• Baccalaureate degree and 3 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience (including 1 year of supervisory experience)
• OR Associate degree and 4 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience (including 1 year of supervisory experience)
• OR High school diploma and 5 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience (including 1 year of supervisory experience)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
