Section Manager, Plant Production Planning Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage all planning-related activities, including production planning, capacity utilization, and package material availability.
• Act as a key liaison between commercial teams, customers, regional/global planning teams, and production/engineering departments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production performance and reduce inventory costs.
• Collaborate with global teams on mid- and long-term capacity scheduling and resource allocation.
• Track compliance with the global Master Production Schedule (MPS) and perform root cause analysis for non-compliance.
• Manage inventory levels, turnover, and non-standard or aged inventory to meet organizational goals.
• Lead and develop the planning team to foster professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in production or demand-supply planning within a multinational company.
• Proven experience in project leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong data analysis skills.
• Experience working with the SAP PP module.
• Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of process troubleshooting, prevention, and data-driven root cause analysis.
• Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to source resources across different plants or divisions.
