Section Manager - Hardware Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to staff
• Monitor progress against individual and program goals
• Oversee engineering best practices, documentation, and implementation
• Provide expertise in proposal writing and work estimation
• Research and implement new technical solutions related to radar, communications, and EW
• Decompose complex customer needs into system concepts and solutions
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the design, development, and deployment of hardware systems
• Manage hiring, development, and staffing for a team of RF, Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware engineers

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Expert understanding in at least one core domain: RF, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Firmware
• Demonstrated technical contributions in hardware system development, preferably RF/Radar
• Prior experience leading teams of 10 or more people
• Experience preparing and delivering high-level briefings to customers and senior management
• Familiarity with technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, and CDRs
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience, Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years in radar system development

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Familiarity with multiple engineering domains (RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware)
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
