Section Leader - Low Volume

Responsibilities

• Manage staff on a daily basis to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Oversee quality-related issues and implement robust corrective actions
• Investigate process non-conformance and raise corrective action reports
• Ensure all personnel adhere to machine shop standard discipline procedures
• Identify and resolve engineering and manufacturing problems
• Provide technical guidance and support to the production team
• Maintain strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Relevant City and Guilds or HNC qualification (or equivalent)
• Completed apprenticeship in manufacturing or engineering
• Strong manufacturing and engineering expertise
• Thorough knowledge of CNC machining
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Ability to work a 3-shift fortnightly rotation (6am-2pm, 2-10pm, 10pm-6am)

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in managing people and manufacturing resources
• Understanding of production planning principles
• Working knowledge of the Syteline ERP system
