Section Leader Campaign Analysis Section/Senior Manager Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-15 engineers in developing and integrating variable-fidelity computer models and simulations for complex threat environments.
• Manage direct line activities including performance development, appraisals, career development, and staffing allocation.
• Generate virtual and analytical solutions to identify technology gaps and demonstrate operational benefits of new mission concepts.
• Evaluate end-to-end system needs to discover interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain.
• Model system and mission kill chains using tools such as AFSIM and RCADE.
• Implement algorithms to provide next-generation performance across the entire system of systems.
• Act as the primary communication link between the section and Raytheon management.

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or mission analysis.
• Proven experience with CONOPS, Campaign Modeling, Engagement and Mission Modeling, and Threat Assessment.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
• Experience with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance (required on day 1).
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Raytheon-owned or Government/Industry Modeling and Simulation tools (e.g., AFSIM, OneSAF, ESAMS, STK, or RCADE).
• Experience with modeling and simulation of sensing systems and effectors.
• Expertise in Statistical analysis, Data Analytics, and Design of Experiments.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
