About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-15 engineers in developing and integrating variable-fidelity computer models and simulations for complex threat environments.
- Manage direct line activities including performance development, appraisals, career development, and staffing allocation.
- Generate virtual and analytical solutions to identify technology gaps and demonstrate operational benefits of new mission concepts.
- Evaluate end-to-end system needs to discover interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain.
- Model system and mission kill chains using tools such as AFSIM and RCADE.
- Implement algorithms to provide next-generation performance across the entire system of systems.
- Act as the primary communication link between the section and Raytheon management.
Requirements
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or mission analysis.
- Proven experience with CONOPS, Campaign Modeling, Engagement and Mission Modeling, and Threat Assessment.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Experience with Numerical Optimization Techniques, Analysis of Alternatives, or Design of Experiments.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance (required on day 1).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Raytheon-owned or Government/Industry Modeling and Simulation tools (e.g., AFSIM, OneSAF, ESAMS, STK, or RCADE).
- Experience with modeling and simulation of sensing systems and effectors.
- Expertise in Statistical analysis, Data Analytics, and Design of Experiments.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
