Section Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
• Interpret design documentation and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
• Support construction teams with technical queries and resolve design conflicts
• Drive value engineering initiatives
• Manage and coordinate temporary works designs and approvals
• Monitor and record construction progress and provide technical input for project reporting

Requirements

• Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in civil, mechanical, electrical or related engineering
• CSCS card holder
• SMSTS card holder
• Experience in a civil engineering or construction environment
• Demonstrable experience within the Water sector
• Full Driving Licence
