About the role

Responsibilities

  • Produce digital copies of documents for retention purposes
  • Prepare records for scanning and record technical, item, and structural metadata
  • Organize scanned documents on local, network, and storage devices
  • Perform data entry, typing letters, and filing electronic and paper documents
  • Provide phone coverage and order supplies
  • Use and troubleshoot office equipment including copiers, fax machines, and scanners
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Provide administrative support to Case Managers

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of office experience
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and bend down to pull charts from filing cabinets
  • Ability to operate a computer and scanner
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with supervision and as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting office equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
