About the role
Responsibilities
- Create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Spanish curriculum
- Utilize creative and active teaching methodologies to foster interactive and hands-on learning
- Provide individualized support and differentiation strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
- Integrate technology and instructional resources to enhance digital literacy and the learning experience
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative methods, providing regular feedback
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding academic and behavioral progress
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized Spanish university or an officially accredited equivalent
- Master's degree in teacher training for secondary education (specialization in Spanish/English language and literature)
- Official Spanish teaching certification or equivalent recognized by Spanish educational authorities
- Native Spanish speaker with essential proficiency in English
- 4-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a multicultural or international setting
- Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of the Spanish curriculum
