Secondary Teacher

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Spanish curriculum
• Utilize creative and active teaching methodologies to foster interactive and hands-on learning
• Provide individualized support and differentiation strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Integrate technology and instructional resources to enhance digital literacy and the learning experience
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative methods, providing regular feedback
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding academic and behavioral progress
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized Spanish university or an officially accredited equivalent
• Master's degree in teacher training for secondary education (specialization in Spanish/English language and literature)
• Official Spanish teaching certification or equivalent recognized by Spanish educational authorities
• Native Spanish speaker with essential proficiency in English
• 4-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a multicultural or international setting
• Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of the Spanish curriculum
