Secondary Science Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, rigorous, and inclusive science lessons that inspire students across a range of abilities
• Model outstanding classroom practice using creative teaching methods to stimulate curiosity
• Use assessment data to plan effectively, monitor student progress, and provide meaningful feedback
• Contribute to wider school life through form tutoring and extracurricular activities
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment in line with safeguarding expectations
• Promote high standards of behaviour, punctuality, and work ethic among students

Requirements

• UK-approved PGCE or an international equivalent
• ECT (Early Career Teacher) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) status
• A genuine passion for Science and the drive to inspire learners
• Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset
• Commitment to professional development and raising academic standards
