Secondary Music Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching practice within the music department
• Contribute to learning area and curriculum development
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Contribute to the wider school community and whole-school events
• Lead high-quality extra-curricular music opportunities to grow the profile of music schoolwide

Requirements

• Degree in Music or a related discipline
• Relevant teaching certificate or license
• Minimum of 3 years full-time teaching experience in a recognized educational institution
• Essential experience teaching IGCSE or GCSE
• Proven track record of leading extra-curricular music programs
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching A-Level or IBDP
• Ability to take on a leadership role within the department
