Secondary Language Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective language lessons that inspire enthusiasm across a diverse range of student abilities
• Plan and teach high-quality lessons using varied approaches to meet curriculum requirements and individual needs
• Set high expectations, support and challenge learners, and use data to monitor progress and inform teaching
• Assess and report on student performance while fostering a positive classroom environment
• Uphold behavior standards and contribute to the wider school community through tutoring and extracurricular activities
• Play an active role in safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all students

Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or equivalent)
• Proven experience in secondary education
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Clear understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
