Secondary IB Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards and inquiry-based learning
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs, including English Language Learners and gifted students
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative classroom culture
• Use technology and innovative approaches to enhance the learning experience
• Assess student progress using varied, authentic methods and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on unit planning and curriculum development
• Participate in co-curricular and community programs to support holistic student learning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a subject-related degree in Mathematics
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, or State teaching license)
• Proven experience teaching High School Math
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching within an IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum
• Experience teaching within an American curriculum context
