Secondary History and Politics Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in History and Politics to students of varying abilities
• Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in political ideas, systems, and global issues
• Assess student progress effectively and use data to inform teaching strategies and support individual growth
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement and classroom behavior
• Contribute to the wider school community through tutoring and extracurricular activities
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment and uphold strict safeguarding standards

Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or equivalent)
• Proven experience in secondary education
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills
• Deep commitment to student wellbeing, progress, and success
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively within a team environment
