Secondary ESL Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English language learning to a diverse range of secondary students.
• Plan and execute engaging lessons using effective teaching methods that stimulate curiosity.
• Use assessment data to guide teaching practice, monitor student progress, and provide meaningful feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with school procedures and contribute to student reports.
• Participate in wider school life, including form tutoring, extracurricular activities, and staff development.
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or international equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge in English and ESL instruction.
• Proven experience in lesson planning and student assessment.
• A committed and innovative approach to education with a passion for working with young people.
• Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A deep commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
