Secondary Biology Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach Biology up to IBDP Higher Level using innovative and inspirational methods
• Deliver outstanding lessons and maintain high expectations for all students
• Track student progress using data, observations, and various assessment methods
• Assess student work in accordance with school policies and performance targets
• Support departmental vision through collaborative planning and curriculum development
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular programme and pastoral care as a tutor
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent evenings

Requirements

• Proven track record of teaching Biology at GCSE and IBDP or A Level standards
• Ability to teach KS3 Science
• Experience delivering high-quality lessons in a science laboratory setting
• Strong commitment to student welfare, safeguarding, and academic excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching IGCSE Double Award Science
• Experience working within an international school environment
