About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers politely while providing product details and answering inquiries
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience
- Engage customers to suggest products, upsell items, and promote special offers
- Meet or exceed sales targets to drive store revenue
- Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise shipments according to company standards
- Ensure accurate labeling and pricing of all products on shelves
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and assigned work schedules
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours daily
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, or use step stools
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment
