Seasonal Recreation Specialist - Summer Camp

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned activities and supervise others in leading recreational programs
• Organize and supervise summer playground programs, day camps, trips, and special events
• Train staff and volunteers in leadership techniques, activity planning, and safety protocols
• Work closely with recreation staff to ensure proper development of assigned activities
• Recruit and train staff and volunteers to assist with program implementation
• Track participation statistics and maintain necessary records and reports

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid
• Ability to pass satisfactory criminal, sex offender, and driving record background checks
