Seasonal IP Camera & Wireless Network Technician

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment in preparation for special events
• Safely operate passenger vehicles and box trucks (up to 26’)
• Install temporary IP cameras and build out wired/wireless mesh networks across large venues
• Configure IP video cameras and wireless backhaul equipment to a centralized command post
• Build temporary video walls and monitor system health during event operational days
• Perform maintenance on IP camera systems and wireless networks as necessary
• Uninstall, pack, and tag equipment for repair or shipping at the end of events
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation and teardown process

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience installing and configuring security cameras and wireless networks
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering and construction drawings
• Proficiency in RJ45 termination
• Understanding of IP addressing, subnets, and network topology
• Intermediate computer proficiency and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or telecommunications network maintenance
• Experience with electrical work or security systems installation
