About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform cashiering duties including selling tickets, rental services, concessions, and merchandise
- Monitor patrons using City-owned aquatic and pool facilities, including slides
- Assist customers with fee collection and provide general customer service
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations regarding public health and safety
- Perform cleaning duties for opening, operating, and closing facilities, including restrooms, decks, and landscaped areas
- Prepare daily reports and deliver money to designated personnel
- Assist in emergency situations by reacting appropriately according to the facility's emergency action plan
- Perform related maintenance and cleaning work as required
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Valid CPR certification
- Valid First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a satisfactory criminal, sex offender, and driving record background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in cashiering or customer service roles
