About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform basic sealing activities for various assemblies ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production operations
- Work from diagrams, drawings, and blueprints to make initial layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and precision instruments
- Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections on work in process
- Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following index points
- Complete work package documentation required by FAA and repair station manuals
- Inspect, monitor, and clean machines following TPM methodology
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical area
- Proficiency in riveting and installation of related hardware
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and specifications
- Ability to wear a respirator per OSHA regulations
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P certification
- Mechanical or electrical experience
- Aircraft structures experience
