About the role
Responsibilities
- Sort fish by size and species
- Clean and bleed fish
- Remove heads and collarbones
- Freeze sorted fish in pans
- Load and unload product and other supplies
- Package fish products in frozen blocks using fiber bags or boxes
- Label and stack frozen cases in the freezer hold
Requirements
- Experience sorting and processing seafood products quickly
- Experience packaging and storing products efficiently
- Experience cleaning and bleeding fish
- Good physical fitness and ability to work hard for extended periods
- Willingness to follow directions and work in a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
