Sea Freight Operator

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day business cases for sea cargo import and export shipments
• Issue and monitor transportation documents and collect necessary paperwork for dispatch
• Organize customs warehouse admission, export customs clearance, and vessel loading
• Provide rate offers to customers and partners where applicable
• Interface with customers and agents to take bookings, coordinate shipments, and troubleshoot issues
• Communicate shipment status updates to clients regularly
• Collaborate with business partners, agents, shipping carriers, and customs bodies to resolve potential delays

Requirements

• 2+ years of Ocean Import or Export experience
• High competency in handling sea cargo shipments, ideally using CargoWise
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• An enthusiastic, positive, and team-focused attitude
• A passion for the transport and logistics industry
