SDV Automotive Cockpit Platform Architect Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture and foundational functions for SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) cockpit platforms, including IVI, clusters, and connected car services.
• Act as a system architect to integrate hardware (CPU, memory), OS layers (RTOS, AUTOSAR, Android OS), and applications for next-generation cockpit platforms.
• Formulate technical roadmaps and development strategies for cockpit systems targeting global markets.
• Define requirement specifications for cockpit architectures to deliver new user experiences.
• Implement and improve Agile development methodologies and DX (Digital Transformation) processes to balance SDV vehicle development with connected system development.
• Manage projects to ensure the successful deployment of cockpit systems across various global vehicle models.

Requirements

• Experience in electronic component hardware (H/W) or software (S/W) design (software experience is preferred).
• Experience with Agile development and Product Increment methodologies (large-scale Agile experience is a plus).
• Experience in system development within IS/IT vendor environments using Agile methods.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English (TOEIC 600+ required) to communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
