SDET Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of 10+ SDET engineers within the Messaging API team.
• Drive the development and execution of robust testing strategies for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, develop, and optimize advanced test automation frameworks and maintain scalable data sets.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Establish and analyze quality metrics to inform decision-making and ensure high software standards.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable, testable criteria.
• Implement non-functional testing strategies, including scalability, redundancy, and chaos engineering in cloud-native environments.

Requirements

• Engineering leadership experience managing a team of at least 10 engineers.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Comprehensive experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate complex technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Springboot, or Kotlin.
• Background in WebRTC or communication testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Kafka, and Data Science frameworks.
• Experience testing multi-tiered architectures with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with VoIP, Messaging protocols, and real-time communication systems.
