SDET (3rd party integration)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright for UI and APIs
• Build and maintain test automation for REST APIs and third-party integrations, such as CRM systems
• Implement end-to-end (E2E), integration, and API tests to ensure application reliability
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality across the SDLC
• Contribute to shift-left testing practices and quality engineering initiatives
• Use AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a mid-level SDET or Automation Engineer
• Strong experience with Playwright for UI test automation
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with API testing (REST, Postman, or similar tools)
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with Git version control and Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and software testing principle knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of contract testing (e.g., Pact)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana or ELK
• Exposure to AI-driven testing approaches or self-healing tests
