SDE Intern - Backend

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend components for Bright's Smart Banking Platform using Django and Python
• Develop smart algorithms and subsystems for lending and financial communications
• Create quick and simple design solutions to solve complex engineering problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational decisions and improve platform efficiency

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SQL and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of Algorithms and Data Structures
• Experience with Python-based frameworks
• Experience working with Relational or NoSQL databases
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong first-principles problem solver
• Experience with the integration and development of REST services
• Demonstrated ability to share knowledge through code reviews or technical mentoring
• Experience developing upon databases at scale
• Demonstrated excellence in competitive programming
