SDE II-Backend

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Leads and Product teams to align technical execution with business goals
• Help with design and code reviews within the team to ensure high quality
• Write highly-optimized and performant code using appropriate design patterns and data structures
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive changes to support business growth
• Contribute to initiatives to re-architect sub-systems as necessary

Requirements

• Strong experience working on highly scalable distributed systems
• Proficiency in Core Java Programming and backend frameworks such as Spring
• Deep understanding of messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Advanced concurrency skills in Java, including knowledge of optimistic and pessimistic locking
• Strong problem-solving skills and mastery of data structures
• Experience with JDBC and relational database systems
• Hands-on experience with Java performance tuning, garbage collectors, and profilers
• Firm believer in Test Driven Development (TDD)
