Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and best practices
• Identify and remove impediments blocking development progress
• Protect the team from outside distractions and scope changes
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture
• Track and report on key Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
• Experience in software development or QA
• Familiarity with scaling frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
