Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices
• Act as a servant leader to enable self-organized, high-performing teams
• Identify and remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog refinement and prioritization
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile governance, and compliance processes
• Track and communicate team progress, risks, and metrics such as velocity and burndown
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and protect the team from external interruptions

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role
• Strong understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience managing Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or RTC
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Financial Services domain, specifically ETF, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking
• Professional certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• Exposure to Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Kanban frameworks
