Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach global software engineering and digital development teams on Agile/Scrum practices and values
• Proactively identify and remove impediments to team progress
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management, refinement, and prioritization
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and adaptation
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions within release timelines
• Manage and administer Jira boards to ensure all tickets and progress are accurately tracked

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role within software development environments
• Deep understanding of Scrum artifacts, ceremonies, and roles
• Proficiency with Jira for tracking sprint progress, velocity, and performance metrics
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and prevent scope creep during sprint planning
• Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Strong communication, facilitation, and servant leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
• Knowledge of cloud environments, specifically AWS
• Familiarity with secure software development practices
