Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Promote, support, and implement Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values in accordance with chosen project approaches like Agile or Kanban.
• Optimize team productivity during Sprints by organizing work and providing necessary tools and methods.
• Facilitate alignment between the Product Owner and the development team to ensure business stakes are met.
• Manage the Product Backlog by initializing, updating, and supporting the Product Owner in value-based prioritization.
• Coach the development team in self-organization, cross-functionality, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Protect the team from external disturbances and help resolve roadblocks and operational problems.
• Monitor project progress through dashboards and share data with stakeholders during Sprint Reviews.
• Ensure engineering practices, such as continuous integration, are implemented and maintained.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Scrum theory and Agile/Kanban methodologies.
• Proven experience in Product Backlog management and prioritization.
• Strong facilitation skills for Scrum ceremonies and workshops.
• Ability to coach teams toward self-organization and high performance.
• Experience in project progress monitoring and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in managing user stories and ensuring they are mature enough for implementation.
