Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader for one or two squads, removing impediments and empowering team members to take ownership.
• Facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach the Scrum Team on Agile principles, values, and practices to foster self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management, user story refinement, and prioritization to maximize value.
• Ensure transparency of Scrum artifacts such as the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Burndown Charts.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and facilitate workshops to solve complex problems in ambiguous situations.
• Provide key delivery metrics to senior stakeholders to maintain visibility into progress and priorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills to educate and guide development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in efficiency improvement.
• Awareness of scaling frameworks and lifecycle management.
• Strong documentation and communication skills to facilitate collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
