Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to ensure clear prioritization and alignment of sprint goals
• Remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes
• Track and analyze sprint metrics such as velocity, burn-downs, and cycle time to improve efficiency
• Ensure adherence to agile principles and best practices across cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with compliance, security, and data teams to ensure delivery within fintech regulatory frameworks
• Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in an agile mindset

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent agile certification
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development environments
• Proven experience working in fintech, digital banking, payments, or financial SaaS products
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps practices
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a scale-up or startup fintech or consumer platform environment
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance processes in financial software delivery
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Azure DevOps
• Exposure to API-driven architectures, payment gateways, or core banking systems
